This Ramadan...
Is a month of mercy, a month of worship and a month of service.

This Ramadan we start with the intention, the intention to make meaningful changes to ourselves and meaningful impact to others.

As we prepare to exercise self discipline and restraint, I also take this into my role as a Director and CEO of AusRelief, where we:

Will NOT Exploit those in terrible circumstances,

Will NOT show children crying in pain , men and women with horrific injuries or deceased .

Will NOT show our brothers and sisters screaming out for help in staged interviews or as condition to receive aid.

Will NOT (and never have) spend funds on paying for influencers or ambassadors .

Will NOT spend funds on Google Ad words - so you won’t be seeing our Sponsored Ads.

Will NOT purchase land or become landlords with your donations .

Will NOT have exorbitant salaries for our founders or CEO.. in fact they are all volunteers.

Will NOT lie about admin fees - they exist and our financials are there for the world to see. They fund employment here and abroad.

We will NOT base operations around the donors, we are beneficiary focused. Their communities tell us what’s needed.

We will NOT measure success by turnover, we are measured by impact.

This Ramadan let’s intend before we spend.

All funds raised will go to maximising impact against poverty and hardship where it’s needed most.
